Day 7

Words matter

It was just a week ago (although its seem longer) when word came that Concordia was switching to online learning for the rest of the school year and that most students would head for home. Your lives changed. My life was altered. Words can do that. Words are powerful.(even though they cannot stop a virus). Words are disruptive. Words . . .

But words can also see us though . . .
  • “In your seed all the families of the earth will be blessed…” (Gen. 12:3)
  • “My peace I leave with you  . . ” (John 14:27)
  • “I am with you always to the end of the age…” (Matt 28:20)
These words are words to live by.
Most cordially in Christ,
Dr. Schuler

  1. Anne Boerboom says:

Alone. I feel so very alone. I go to school and no longer are there 26 faces looking up at me. My colleagues aren’t just down the hall, ready with the answers to my questions. I spend most of the day alone, as Spencer is still working (Walgreens is considered an essential). In the midst of the uncertainty and odd work of moving a 1st and 2nd grade classroom online, it is comforting to know that we are never truly alone. Praying for the whole CSP community.
